Yogurt: The Complete Guide

Hello, everyone.  It's me, Cammie.  I've been meaning to talk to you about this for a while now.  Today is finally the day.  I'd like to talk to you about yogurt.  As many of you know, I just love yogurt.  I can hear a yogurt container being opened from a hundred paces away.  I.  Love.  It.

Except ...

"What the fluff is this?!!?"

... except for something called "Greek" yogurt.  It's right down there with kale in my book.  Awful!  Awful stuff!  I mean - check out my ears in that shot!  Awful!

Mom wanted to try the Greek kind, but fortunately, we see eye-to-eye on this. She's not much keener on it than I am.  No more Greek yogurt.  No more!  Peace has been restored to my world now. And to Mom's.

"Sooooo much better, Mom!"
"I know, Cam.  Tons better."

"I don't like that Greek kind, Mom."
"Neither do I.  Never again."

And so, here's my guide to yogurt:  Greek kind, bad; regular kind, good.  That's really all you need to know.

Cammie!

  2. Ohhhhhhhhhh Cammie mom loves yogurt too. She is ok with Greek as long as it has a ton of fruit in it...too much sugar though. So she now likes the Whip Yogurt and just regular yogurt.
Great review and I give you a gold star for trying!!

  4. HI Cammie, I agree with you and mom; I get the normal kind and am partial to Coconut-Pineapple too. Hunter loves any left over yogurt I put down for him.

  7. Back when Lady could eat dairy (before her body betrayed her), she preferred Greek yogurt. It looks yummy. We never get it.

  8. Mom makes me homemade "Frosty Pause" treats out of vanilla yogurt, a smooshed banana and a little honey, mixed up in a blender then frozen into little dixie cups with a dog treat as a stick. Yummy!

Mom does the regular yogurt as she read the properties in dairy which help you shed belly fat, are NOT as prevalent in the Greek kind, given how it is processed.

  13. we'll make sure to keep the Greek stuffs off our momma's shoppin list! thanks for the tip, Cammie! you should try vaulting onto your mom's shoulder and then climbing out her arm to help yourself. this is especially useful if your mom doesn't want to share :D

  19. Cammie, you are so funny! I'm glad you and your mom agree on which you like best. I have to say that I like the Greek yogurt. It is easier on my stomach. My Chase Bird loved to lick a little of it off my pinky. :-)
