2! 4! 6! 8!

Ha roo, pups and cool cats!  It's me - Zim!  So there I was the other day, taking Mom outside, when Dad pulled up in the SUV.  He opened the back hatch up and started unloading something; I sauntered over to see what was going on.

"Whatcha got there, Dad?"

His vehicle was packed to the gills with insulation!  Interesting!

"Good insulation can cut back on energy costs -
and help the house be warmer in Winter and cooler in Summer!"

It looked to me like Dad had quite the project on his hands.  I thought I should help.

"Yep.  R-13.  Good choice, Dad!  OK, then.  My work here's done."

I wouldn't want to overdo.  I did cheer him on, though, with a poem I wrote just for the occasion.  It went like this:
2!  4!  6!  8!  Dad is gonna insulate!
2!  4!  6!  8!  Who do we appreciate?
Dad!  Dad!  Dad!
 Ha roooo!
It was pretty special.  Remember - I'm a member of the Working Breed group.  I'm trained for this kind of thing.

Play bows,
Zim

  2. Funny thing is our hu-dad says we help best on home improvement projects if we go outside in the backyard and play. Not sure how it works, but he says it speeds him up greatly.

  6. Zim,
I'm glad you are trained and ready to help. So many DIY doggies try these projects with disastrous results. Just be sure to keep Miss Maggie busybody away from the construction.

    Kisses,
    Dexter

  11. Hi there, Now I wonder what your dad is going to insulate? With the cost of energy, any help we can get is well worth is. Maybe your mom could gather all your hair(that you lost)and use that too; I bet it would be really warm.

  18. You are so helpful Zim! We are sure your Dad appreciates it! We got insulated this year too---we loved it in the summer but we hate it now in the winter...the house used to be nice and chilly all winter long. Now it's to darn warm---we are huskies after all!
